Korda Basix Weigh Sling

The Korda Basix Weigh Sling is a traditional weigh sling designed to safely transfer fish from the water to your unhooking mat and to weigh them accurately. Constructed from durable nylon material, it is long and deep enough to accommodate carp commonly found in the UK and many overseas venues. The sling features strong, lightweight powder-coated two-piece metal bars at the top, providing rigidity and aiding in the weighing process. These bars are elasticated and can be easily split in the middle, allowing the sling to be folded into a compact size that fits inside the Basix Cradle unhooking mat or an exterior pocket on a Compac Rod Holdall. A strong webbing strap is attached to the bars on each side, offering good balance when connected to the hook on your scales, ensuring safe weighing. The sling includes large drainage holes along the bottom, enabling quick water drainage when lifting it out of the lake. A high-quality, free-running zip at each end secures the fish during transit and weighing. Designed to float, the sling facilitates easy transfer of the fish and rolled-up net into it in the water, reducing the risk of damaging fins or tail.
